HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR GLOVES

When using quality goalkeeper gloves, this also means taking great care and ensuring you keep your gloves in the best condition for as long as possible. We use highest quality in latex for our gloves and unfortunately this means our gloves will subsequently wear over time. If using gloves on artificial grass, 3G or Astro turf then our gloves will wear down quicker than when used on grass. Abrasion and wear to gloves is a natural process due to the soft latex materials used. Future Gk cannot be held responsible for wear to the palms, mistreatment or neglect in any of the below steps.

Disclaimer: Do not let your gloves dry out, always keep a little damp to prevent from blistering and drying out. Do not use in the washing machine. When cleaning do not apply heavy pressure as this can wear the gloves down.

We can not replace or refund for gloves that have been used or mistreated.

• Always wash by hand 30c or below.
• Do not machine wash
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not use harmful liquids, soaps, brushes or solvents.
• Do not place near heat sources like radiators and avoid direct sunlight as these can cause drying out and blistering.

BEFORE USE

Step 1: Carefully remove plastic film: To protect your gloves a film has been added to the palm to protect and keep clean after production, transport and storage. Be very careful when removing film so you don’t damage the soft palm.

Step 2: Activate the grip: To make the most of the grip of the gloves firstly wash in lukewarm water until all soaps and residues have been removed.

*do not wring your gloves out as this can damage the gloves.

Step 3: Dampen before playing: Rinse your gloves through with lukewarm water 1-2 hours before use and keep slightly damp during use to prevent abrasions and drying out.

AFTER USE

Step 1: Cleaning after use: Wash gloves with lukewarm water to remove any dirty or sweat to keep the grip working to it’s fullest.

Step 2: Drying your gloves: Always dry gloves naturally at room temperature, keep out of direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources as this can make the latex bubble or dry out which will eventually shorten the life of your gloves.

How to store your gloves:

Store gloves in a dry, cool and dark room.

Gloves can be stored perfectly in glove towels and glove bags.

Do not press the palms together as they can stick and damage the latex.

Signs of usage: It’s very common for gloves to show signs of wear and tear but if you follow the above steps then this can significantly prolong the life of your gloves.
